You have amazing insights, knowledge, and wisdom inside of you. Things that you’re passionate about. Things that can change people’s lives.
So share it.
Building your list isn’t the only element that’s important to gaining more visibility and impact online. As you grow your list, you want to grow your authority too.
So that your ideal people begin to really know, like, and trust you…. And WANT to buy from you! (hello new clients!)
A great way to do that is by teaching people something you know. But not just any ol’ thing. Something that people actually REALLY want to learn, that will solve their pain, and promise a solution that will make their life so much better.
Another way is to show them your process and why YOUR process is THE process when it comes to creating the wildly amazing results you get for people.
Think back to your ideal clients… what are they struggling with?
Is there something you know that you could teach or show your ideal clients that will make them realize how brilliant you REALLY are?
How does that tie into your main offering? (by the way, you can make pretty much anything tie into an offering)
Now that you have a few ideas for what you could teach people, I want you to consider how you will teach people.
Here are my favorite ways of doing that:
They rock, period, the end. Not only do people get to hear (maybe even SEE) you, which is a huge connection and trust builder, but they also get to see how you teach, how well you know your craft, and how passionate you are about it. Plus, you can sell something at the end which is another big win!
2. Free Challenge
These are great as long as they are straight and to the point. 5 days is the maximum time you wanna go for a free challenge. People typically start to lose interest around day 3 so even day 5 is pushing.
I did my first challenge back in 2013 (I think?) and it was 14 days. Maybe only 10% got to the end. I know because I asked and they told me. Data also tells me this through all the campaigns we’ve run for my clients.
3. Free Video Series
This is a series of 3-4 videos where you teach about a topic, share your story, and it’s a great place for you to get people excited about a solution (your product!). It’s another great way to pitch your offerings while building your authority and your list. Just don’t make the videos long.
And how do these grow your list? Simple. In order to be “in” the person has to give you their email address and then you deliver these via email.
Running Facebook Ads also work very well for campaigns like these as they are high value. But that’s another topic for another day.
